Add to Calendar 2013-03-26 8:00pm 2013-03-26 Chris Stover's Book of Sand at The Royal Room Book of Sand will perform a mix of Chris Stover's new and slightly less new music, covering a wide range of expressive ground: lush, lyrical textures; far-reaching dissonances, subtly shifting compositional processes, and powerful grooves. All original compositions along with creative reworkings of music by Elvis Costello, Bob Marley, and Johannes Brahms.

With an all-star cast:

Stuart MacDonald's Roosevelt High School band will play a brief opening set.
