The 12-piece JAZZ FOREST Band will be bringing their high-energy, big canvas jazz to the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon Sat. Oct. 5 at 7:00 PM. Featured guest recording artist from L.A. will be Doug Webb. One of the world’s best. Opening the concert will be the very hot local ensemble The A’Town Big Band from Anacortes.

Jazz Forest is led by composer/arranger Ron Jones He created the film scores for many of the top Hollywood Studios such as Family Guy, Star Trek:TNG, and many, many more. This is not your typical jazz group. This is a complete entertainment package with great sound, lights,and video. Each piece not only features the great soloists in the band but also kicks into high-gear with a 7-piece rhythm section. The music is solidly rooted in jazz but is blended with Pop, R+B, Rock, Funk and today’s best jazz....
